Tesla and Waymo have reported additional crashes involving their robotaxi fleets in Austin, facing increased scrutiny over their self-driving technology. Tesla, with fewer than 40 cars, now has 15 reported crashes since June, while Waymo, operating 200 fully driverless vehicles, has logged 60 crashes in the same period. These reports come as Tesla prepares for the production launch of its purpose-built Cybercab robotaxi and both companies face ongoing investigations into their safety records.
