Chinese team discovers new particle using European Large Hadron Collider

People’s Financial News, March 21 — The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) recently announced that the Large Hadron Collider’s (LHCb) collaboration team has discovered a new particle. It is composed of two charm quarks and one down quark, making it a singly charged “double-charm baryon.” The new discovery helps physicists better understand how the strong interaction contributes to the formation of protons, neutrons, and other composite particles.
