Abstract generation in progress

Hennes has long been considered one of the most vocal critics of the modern football agent industry. On March 20th, local time, at an event, the former Bayern Munich president once again intensified his criticism, not only publicly attacking player agents but also stating that the club will take measures to address the issue.

Hennes said, “Nowadays, whenever a player goes abroad to play or transfers from abroad, they must have an agent. Of course, there are many very professional and reliable agents, but there are also many ‘vampires.’ We all need to find ways to eliminate these ‘vampires.’”

In Hennes’s view, the huge commissions taken by agents in player transfers are especially hard to accept.

He openly criticized, “Some people can take 10 million euros just for three meals, which is absolutely abnormal.”

Hennes revealed that this issue has also sparked “intense discussions” within Bayern.

He stated that the club will try to develop a plan in the future to avoid being passively exploited on agent issues: “We will work hard to come up with a plan so that we no longer have to accept this situation.”

However, Hennes did not disclose further details about what this so-called “plan” might look like.
