Alibaba earnings call: Pingtouge GPU chips have cumulatively delivered 470,000 units at scale
People’s Financial News, March 19 — On March 19, during Alibaba’s fiscal year 2026 Q3 earnings call with analysts, Alibaba stated that the self-developed Pingtouge GPU chips have achieved mass production. As of February this year, a total of 470,000 units have been delivered. In Alibaba Cloud’s actual business scenarios, over 60% of Pingtouge chips serve external commercial clients. They have completed large-scale external customer AI task adaptation, supporting AI tasks for more than 400 enterprise clients across industries including internet, financial services, and autonomous driving.
