# Shortage of Staff! This Type of Talent is Booming! Average Monthly Salary Exceeds 20,000 Yuan
It’s that time of year again—spring recruitment season. Currently, many regions are actively conducting spring job fairs. Recently, Beijing hosted this year’s first large-scale job fair, with over 480 companies offering more than 20,000 positions. According to reports, this year, recruitment demand in industries such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and smart hardware is steadily growing, with many core positions in a “talent competition” phase. The latest data shows that the average monthly salary for AI engineers has reached 20,804 yuan.
At the job fair, it was noted that unlike previous years, more than half of the companies have set up positions related to technological innovation, such as robotics and artificial intelligence.
The fair also balanced recruitment for fresh graduates and experienced professionals. Many companies emphasized that they are placing greater importance on candidates’ professional skills during hiring.
The event featured 12 new career experience zones, covering fields like drones, pet economy, and artificial intelligence, allowing job seekers to clearly understand the development prospects and demand for these emerging roles.
Beijing: “Human-Machine Collaboration” Arrives, AI-Related Careers Continue to Be Popular
During interviews, it was observed that this year, “human-machine collaboration” workplace scenarios are becoming more common. Many tech companies in Beijing now have employees working alongside “digital colleagues” to complete tasks. Proficiency in AI and the ability to use AI tools have become essential skills for professionals, and the demand for talent in related positions continues to grow.
Fu Qiang, an AI technician at a Beijing tech company, told reporters that nowadays, workers are no longer “fighting alone” when completing tasks but are collaborating with five digital employees.
Feishu’s Chief AI Expert in the Consumer Sector, Fu Qiang: “This is one of my digital employees, called Ruirui. She helps me solve report quality issues. I record the report process when I meet with clients, and my digital employee begins quality checking to see if my proposal meets the client’s needs.”
According to reports, this year, recruitment demand in industries such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and smart hardware remains robust, with many core positions in a “talent competition” phase.
Latest data shows that the average monthly salary for AI engineers has reached 20,804 yuan; chip engineers, mobile developers, and software developers follow closely, with salaries of 17,790 yuan, 16,624 yuan, and 15,816 yuan respectively.
