On March 18, Baidu appointed He Jingzhou, formerly of the Large Model Algorithm Department, to rotate from the Basic Model Development Unit (BMU) to the Mobile Ecosystem Group (MEG), serving as the organizational leader of the Baidu App Development Center, reporting to Luo Rong. This rotation will promote the integration of large models with search and recommendation businesses, strengthening the application of cutting-edge technologies like large models in core scenarios such as search and recommendations. The original leader, Zhao Shiqi, resigned due to personal reasons.

Previously, Baidu MEG underwent an organizational restructuring, merging all search businesses on PC and mobile platforms, with Li Xiaowan responsible for user content and operations. Simultaneously, Baidu established the Baidu App Development Center and the Experience and Quality Assurance Center. (First Financial)
