What are the specific methods and motives behind AI detainees leaking military coordinates?

According to CCTV News, on March 20 local time, Iran’s Intelligence Ministry announced that during operations in Gazvin Province and West Azerbaijan Province, 45 individuals suspected of “treason” and believed to be engaged in espionage for the United States and Israel were arrested.

The announcement stated that some of these individuals were accused of leaking coordinates of Iranian military bases and security forces’ assembly points to Israel, while others were suspected of attempting armed attacks in West Azerbaijan Province.

Previously, on March 19 local time, Iran’s Intelligence Ministry reported that since the outbreak of war, 178 “traitors” and U.S.-Israeli contractors had been arrested. It is claimed that these individuals sent location information of the Iranian Red Crescent Society centers and checkpoints to U.S.-Israeli spy agencies, aiming to make these centers targets. Additionally, they sent photos of sensitive locations being hit outside Iran.
