China Pharma Holdings Net Profit Growth 76.8% in 2025, Three Post-70s New Vice Presidents Take Office

China National Pharmaceutical Group (SZ000028) released its 2025 annual performance forecast on March 17.

During the reporting period, China National Pharmaceutical Group achieved operating revenue of 73.416 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.29% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 1.136 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 76.80%. Correspondingly, basic earnings per share increased by 77.39% year-on-year, and the weighted average return on net assets rose by 2.59 percentage points.

The company’s profit growth during this period was mainly due to a decrease of 686 million yuan in asset impairment provisions for goodwill and intangible assets, combined with reductions in rigid cost expenses such as labor and rent resulting from store adjustments.

On the same day, China National Pharmaceutical Group announced that Wang Chu applied to resign from his position as Vice General Manager due to work transfer reasons. After resignation, he will not hold any other positions in the company. Due to operational management needs, the board of directors approved the appointment of Huang Minchun, Chi Guoguang, and Wang Hubiao as Vice General Managers.

Huang Minchun, born in 1973, holds a master’s degree, is a deputy chief pharmacist and licensed pharmacist. He is the Party Secretary and Vice General Manager of China National Pharmaceutical Holdings Guangzhou Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Guangzhou Holdings”). Huang joined China Medical Company Guangzhou Procurement Station in 1994, and has served as Director of the Pharmaceutical Department at China Medical (Group) Guangzhou Company, Procurement Manager at China National Pharmaceutical Group Guangzhou Co., Ltd., Deputy Director of Procurement Department at Guangzhou Holdings, Deputy Director of Business Management Department, Director of Operations Management Department, Director of Quality Management Department, General Manager of China National Pharmaceutical Holdings Foshan Co., Ltd., and Director of Risk and Operations Management Department at China National Pharmaceutical Group. Since February 2018, he has been Vice General Manager of Guangzhou Holdings, and since 2021, also Party Secretary of Guangzhou Holdings.

Chi Guoguang, born in 1972, holds a master’s degree, is an International Financial Management Level 1 professional, senior technician, and intermediate accountant. He is Vice General Manager and Discipline Inspection Committee member of Guangzhou Holdings. From 1992 to 2004, he worked at China Medical Company Guangzhou Procurement Supply Station, China Medical (Group) Guangzhou Company, and Guangzhou Holdings as financial staff, finance director, and finance manager. From 2004 to 2014, he served as Director of Financial Accounting Department, Director of Capital Management Department, and Director of Financial Capital Department at China National Pharmaceutical Group. Since 2014, he has held positions including Deputy General Manager, Financial Director, and Discipline Inspection Committee member at Guangzhou Holdings, and concurrently served as General Manager of the Supply Chain Information Product Expansion Center.

Wang Hubiao, born in 1977, holds a bachelor’s degree, is a licensed pharmacist and senior logistics engineer (Level 1). He is a Party Committee member and Vice General Manager of Guangzhou Holdings. From 2000 to 2003, he was Sales Director at Guangdong Oriental New Specialty Drugs Co. From 2003 to 2009, he served as Regional Manager, Customer Manager, and Deputy Director of the Sales Department at Guangzhou External Hospitals of Guangzhou Holdings. From 2009 to 2016, he was General Manager of China National Pharmaceutical Holdings Zhanjiang Co., Ltd. From 2016 to 2018, he was Assistant General Manager of Guangzhou Holdings, Executive Director of Guangxi China National Pharmaceutical Holdings Co., Ltd., and Chairman of Liuzhou China National Pharmaceutical Holdings. Since 2018, he has been Party Committee member and Vice General Manager of Guangzhou Holdings, and has also served as Chairman of Shaoguan China National Pharmaceutical Holdings, Heyuan China National Pharmaceutical Holdings, and Yangjiang China National Pharmaceutical Holdings, as well as Vice President of the Guangdong Provincial Health Economics Society and Deputy Chairman of the Professional Pharmacy Committee of the Guangdong Pharmaceutical Society.
