S&P Global has reaffirmed its “Negative” BBB rating on WPP, citing expected challenges for the advertising giant over the next 12 months. The agency predicts WPP may not achieve organic revenue growth and profitability will remain weak due to strategic execution uncertainties. However, S&P acknowledges potential for organic growth in 2027 if CEO Cindy Rose’s “Elevate28” plan, which simplifies operations, is successful, and notes recent new business wins as a positive factor for future revenue.
