According to a notice from the Emergency Management Bureau of Xingning City, Meizhou, Guangdong, at approximately 2:50 am on March 14, a fire broke out in a self-built residential house in Shuikou Town, Xingning City. Through comprehensive search and rescue efforts, 5 trapped people were rescued from the scene, of which 3 died despite emergency medical treatment, and 2 were injured. The fire was extinguished at 4:01 am on the same day. Upon verification, the building where the fire started is a four-story reinforced concrete structure with a burned area of approximately 150 square meters.
