MOCI Issues Circular To Factory, Commercial Establishment Owners On Electronic Integration, Stock Registration
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) QNA
Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) issued a circular to factory owners and commercial establishments regarding electronic integration and the registration of stock quantities, sales, and services, as part of efforts to enhance market oversight efficiency and further develop the electronic monitoring system.
This measure aims to enhance market oversight and develop the electronic monitoring system.
In a statement on Thursday, MOCI indicated that the circular includes procedures such as electronic integration with the Ministry through an ERP system or its equivalent, continuous inventory registration, and the provision and immediate updating of required data upon any change.
The circular also explained that failure to electronically link with the Ministry, tampering with documents or records (whether paper or electronic), refusing to submit required documents, or providing false information constitutes a violation, according to the provisions of Law No. (12) of 1972 on price controls and profit margins and its amendments.
The MOCI called on all factory and commercial establishment owners to comply with the provisions of this circular to avoid legal action against violators, noting that the circular is effective from the date of its issuance.
