Human nature, however, takes from the deficient to serve the abundant—the rich grow richer, the strong grow stronger—the Matthew Effect runs rampant.

In the short term, human nature dominates; the ruthless easily win.
In the long term, the heavenly way will eventually correct course,
but this cycle may take generations or even centuries.
