The 2026 F1 Chinese Grand Prix will be held from March 13 to 15 at the Shanghai International Circuit. The event will be deeply integrated with the 18th Shanghai Auto Culture Festival and is expected to attract 230,000 spectators. This year’s race features technological and regulatory innovations, including optimized car body dimensions and weight, the first-time introduction of active aerodynamics systems, and an increase in electric energy share in the power units to 50%, enhancing both the entertainment and unpredictability of the race. Cadillac has joined the lineup, with 11 teams and 22 cars competing this season. Chinese driver Zhou Guanyu will participate as a reserve driver for Cadillac, and the event’s popularity has already translated into consumer momentum. (Shanghai Observer News)
