#Focusing on the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference#【#The 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference is about to be held in Beijing#】On the morning of March 18, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the relevant details of the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference. Vice Minister of Science and Technology Lin Xin announced that, with approval from the State Council, the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference will be held in Beijing from March 25 to 29. The conference is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the Beijing Municipal Government. The theme for this year is “Deep Integration of Scientific and Industrial Innovation.” The event features five main sections: forum sessions, achievement releases, technology transactions, frontier competitions, and supporting activities, with over 100 events expected to attract thousands of guests from more than 100 countries and regions. Lin Xin highlighted four key features of this year’s forum:

First, emphasizing the expansion of the international science and innovation center. Focusing on building the Beijing (Jing-Jin-Ji) international science and innovation center, the three regions will jointly host the Jing-Jin-Ji Collaborative Innovation and High-Quality Development Forum and the Jing-Jin-Ji Technology Achievement Matchmaking Conference, releasing policies to deepen cooperation. The aim is to promote innovation collaboration and industrial cooperation across Jing-Jin-Ji, with a focus on six key industrial chains and five industrial clusters.

Second, highlighting the deep integration of scientific and industrial innovation. Several thematic forums will be held around cutting-edge fields such as 6G, brain-computer interfaces, and cell and gene therapy, to explore technological innovation and industrial applications. Frontier technology competitions and technology transaction conferences will also be organized to facilitate the transformation of scientific achievements.

Third, promoting the integrated development of education, science, technology, and talent. Renowned universities, research institutes, and leading enterprises from home and abroad will participate deeply, gathering outstanding engineers and young scientific talents to discuss talent cultivation models driven by technological development and strategic needs, aiming to stimulate innovation vitality.

Fourth, emphasizing high-level scientific and technological openness and cooperation.
