Qatar Central Bank Announces Bank Holiday For Eid Al Fitr 2026

Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Central Bank has announced the Eid Al Fitr holidays for banking and financial institutions in the country.

“Pursuant to Clause (1) of Article (4) of Amiri Decree No. (57) of 2025 outlining official working days, national occasions, and public holidays in the State of Qatar, and on the occasion of the approaching Eid Al Fitr, it has been decided that the Eid Al Fitr holiday will start on Thursday, March 19, 2026, and end on Monday, March 23, 2026.”

It further confirmed that financial institutions will resume work on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
