Morgan Stanley has submitted a revised S-1 filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for its spot Bitcoin ETF, the "Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust" (MSBT), aiming to list on NYSE Arca. This is the first time a major U.S. bank has attempted to directly issue such a product and utilize its extensive wealth management network for distribution. The filing specifies an initial offering of 10,000 shares, seed shares of 50,000 shares, and arrangements with BNY Mellon for cash custody and Coinbase for custody of Bitcoin holdings.
