Alibaba announced that the net cash flow used in investing activities in the third quarter was RMB 25.716 billion (USD 3.677 billion), mainly consisting of capital expenditures of RMB 28.999 billion (USD 4.147 billion), and net cash outflows from investment and acquisition activities of RMB 6.959 billion (USD 0.995 billion), partially offset by a net decrease in short-term investments and other financial investments of RMB 9.917 billion (USD 1.418 billion).
