Jiangsu Private Enterprises' Import and Export Growth Reaches 15.9% Year-on-Year in First Two Months
This article is reprinted from Jiangsu Economic Daily
According to Nanjing Customs statistics, in the first two months of this year, Jiangsu private enterprises imported and exported goods worth 440.77 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.9%, accounting for 42.6% of the province’s total import and export value during the same period.
Private enterprises have demonstrated resilience and vitality in international competition. “By 2025, our exports of various artificial turf products will exceed 1.4 billion yuan, a 10.6% increase year-on-year, and are sold in nearly 100 countries and regions worldwide. Orders are already fully booked at the beginning of this year, and production lines are operating at full capacity,” said Zhang Liang, head of international business at Jiangsu Gongchuang Artificial Turf Co., Ltd. Leveraging the new waterway transportation channel near their doorstep, the company has not only reduced logistics costs but also gained a market advantage, with exports exceeding 200 million yuan in the first two months.
Intelligence has become the confidence behind private enterprises’ “breaking waves and going overseas.” At Yuwell Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. in Jiangsu, fully automatic sorting robotic arms operate efficiently in the logistics workshop. A batch of medical molecular sieve oxygen generators is being unloaded and prepared for shipment to Spain, the Netherlands, and other countries. The company continues to innovate in respiratory therapy, blood sugar management, emergency rescue, and other fields, designing nearly a hundred innovative products and full-scenario solutions. “We continuously launch highly adaptable products and services. Our portable oxygen concentrators, emergency rescue equipment, and iWAVE technology have received widespread praise from users. In the first two months, exports increased by more than 50% year-on-year,” said Cold Chao, head of customs affairs at the company. (Song Xiaohua)
