Kroger announced plans to close approximately 50 underperforming Little Clinic locations as part of a strategy to simplify its business and rein in costs. This follows the closure of all 18 Little Clinics in Georgia and the sale of its online health and wellness subsidiary, Vitacost. The decision aims to make the company more efficient despite pharmacy sales contributing significantly to recent growth, though projected growth is moderating.
