Accor Raffles Brand Enters Yunnan for the First Time; Kunming Jinning Dianchi Resort Signs Agreement and Lands

Viewpoint.com News: Recently, the signing ceremony for the Kunming Dianchi Hyatt Regency Resort project was held at Niulian Small Fishing Village in Jinning District, marking the first time the Hyatt Regency brand has established a presence in Yunnan.

According to reports, the project will introduce international hotel management experience, combined with Dianchi Lake’s scenic and cultural resources, to build an international-level resort destination aimed at South Asia and Southeast Asia, providing a new support point for Kunming to develop into a world-class tourist city.

Once completed, the resort is expected to directly create hundreds of high-quality jobs, prioritize hiring local labor, and stimulate surrounding homestays, specialty restaurants, and agricultural tourism industries. This will form a Dianchi Lake shoreline cultural tourism industry belt characterized by “one core, multiple points, and a chain of beads,” helping local villages along the coast achieve shared prosperity through ecological resources.
