Exxon accelerates oil, gas projects in Guyana amid high prices

Abstract generation in progress

Exxon Mobil is accelerating its oil and gas projects in Guyana due to high crude prices, with a new floating production facility “almost complete” and expected to depart from Singapore soon. This facility, the Errea Wittu, will produce up to 250,000 barrels per day from the Uaru project. The acceleration helps Exxon recover costs earlier than initially forecast, with further projects like Whiptail and Hammerhead also being expedited.
