Iranian Foreign Minister Alaghazi posted on social media on the evening of the 18th, stating that Israel shows no regard for the consequences of normalizing its “reprehensible” assassination tactics. The international community should not hold double standards or ignore Israel’s “reckless actions.”

The day before, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu posted a video on social media showing him talking with U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Herzog, displaying a card related to the assassination of Iranian officials, claiming that he “erased two names” from it, implying that Israel had assassinated Iran’s top national security official Larijani and the commander of the militia group “Mobilization of the Poor” Suleimani.

Alaghazi wrote that if the President of Iran showed a foreign ambassador a “kill list” with U.S. President, Congress leaders, senior generals, etc., and then announced they would be eliminated one by one, the UN Security Council would hold an emergency meeting, the media would go into a frenzy, and sanctions, threats, or even war would follow—all wrapped in the guise of “international law” and maintaining “global order.”

Alaghazi pointed out that, however, when it comes to Israel, the usual rules seem no longer apply. Those so-called “guardians of law and order” remain silent, vague, or even provide weapons and shelter to Israel. This reflects a deliberate moral collapse, where rules only apply to opponents, and exemptions are reserved for allies.

He also said that Israel is gradually dragging its American partners into a deeper moral and political abyss.

On February 28, the U.S. and Israel launched a large-scale military operation against Iran, during which Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei and several senior military and political officials were killed in the airstrikes. Iran retaliated against Israel and U.S. military bases in the Middle East. Israeli Defense Minister Katz stated on the 18th that he and Netanyahu had jointly decided to authorize the Israeli military to strike “any senior Iranian officials” without approval, and “all Iranians are targets.”
