Tencent CodeBuddy experienced login and service instability due to a surge in user traffic, which has now been fixed and restored to normal. To thank users for their support, all domestic version users will receive 5000 Credits as a gift before March 31, 2026.

On the evening of March 9th, Tencent CodeBuddy issued an apology statement: Due to a surge in traffic causing login and service instability, the issue has now been resolved. The service has fully recovered and is stable, and all functions can be accessed and used normally.

This outage was caused by the domestic public testing launch of WorkBuddy (Tencent’s version of Little Dragon Lizard), which far exceeded expected user traffic, resulting in immediate excessive pressure on core services. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. After the incident, our technical team promptly expanded capacity by ten times.
