CoinWorld reports that according to 1M AI News monitoring, xAI’s Grok 4.20 officially ends beta testing and launches today. Grok 4.20 introduces four reasoning modes: Auto, Fast, Expert, and Heavy. Auto automatically chooses between Fast and Expert; Fast focuses on quick responses; Expert performs in-depth thinking. xAI founder Elon Musk posted on X asking users for their initial impressions of Grok 4.20 and stated that “major updates are still being pushed weekly.” The beta version of Grok 4.20 achieved a non-hallucination rate of 78% in Artificial Analysis testing, setting a new record for the tested model, but its overall intelligence score is 48, trailing behind Gemini 3.1 Pro and GPT-5.4, which scored 57. API pricing is $2 for input and $6 per million tokens for output, supporting up to 20 million tokens of long context.
