People’s Financial News, March 17 — On March 17, the State Post Bureau held a director’s office meeting. The meeting emphasized the need to focus on rural industry development, rural construction, and rural governance by addressing weaknesses, increasing momentum, improving services, and reducing costs to enhance the capacity of rural delivery services. It called for further consolidating the achievements in building the rural logistics system, improving rural express delivery terminal facilities, promoting efficient e-commerce development, strengthening public management of service areas, and enhancing supervision of rural express delivery quality. The meeting also stressed the importance of leveraging universal postal services as a safety net, strengthening the capacity of the rural postal service system, and supporting the expansion of service functions at postal outlets. Additionally, it urged effective implementation of targeted assistance work, leveraging industry advantages, increasing consumer support efforts, better meeting the postal needs of the people, and helping farmers and rural areas achieve common prosperity.
