I have a friend whose family received a 130 square meter apartment through a demolition compensation deal, and he sold it for 1 million yuan. He then bought a used Panamera and changes girlfriends from his social circle every week.

I asked him why he would do this.

He said the house value would eventually become worthless anyway, so he might as well enjoy driving a luxury car while he's young.

Is this worth it?
