Huazhu Group's 2025 hotel operating revenue grew 16.4% year-over-year to 108.1 billion yuan

According to Huazhu Group’s Q4 and full-year financial report for 2025, the total hotel revenue for the year reached 108.1 billion yuan, a 16.4% increase year-over-year; revenue was 25.3 billion yuan, up 5.9%; and adjusted net profit was 4.9 billion yuan, a 32.9% increase. As of the end of the reporting period, Huazhu Group operated 12,858 hotels worldwide with 1,264,419 rooms, ranking as the fourth-largest hotel group globally. The company opened 2,444 new hotels during the year, with member booking nights totaling 245 million, a 21.5% increase, and the membership system’s support for business continued to strengthen.

Huazhu Group CEO Jin Hui stated that the group’s key financial indicators grew steadily in 2025, mainly due to product upgrades and revenue management optimization. Moving forward, the company will focus on high-quality development, strengthen brand building, deepen service capabilities, leverage Huazhu Club to improve member marketing efficiency, and empower business operations through technology and artificial intelligence.

During the reporting period, the group continued to expand into lower-tier markets, with county-level store numbers increasing by 30% year-over-year and booking nights rising by 36.3%. At the same time, it steadily expanded the mid-to-high-end hotel segment, with store numbers growing by 17.6%. Brands such as Intercity and Crystal continued to break new ground, optimizing the supply structure of the accommodation industry. Member booking nights contributed steadily, with business travel services covering over 100,000 enterprises, and a total of 6.132 million visitors from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and foreign countries received throughout the year.

In terms of digitalization and technological innovation, Huazhu Group advanced the intelligent transformation of hotel operations. Self-check-in devices “Huazhanggui” have been deployed in over 2,500 stores, and AI-based check-in services in partnership with Tencent cover more than 3,200 hotels, encompassing most service scenarios, improving response efficiency and check-in experience. The GOP cost management system for store operations has been implemented in 7,763 hotels, helping franchisees optimize cost structures, improve operational efficiency, and promote the industry’s digital and intelligent transformation.
