Abstract generation in progress

On March 16, domestic electrolytic copper spot inventory was 564,900 tons, down 24,900 tons from the 9th and down 12,600 tons from the 12th; Shanghai inventory was 361,500 tons, down 5,500 tons from the 9th and down 1,000 tons from the 12th; Guangdong inventory was 88,000 tons, down 7,200 tons from the 9th and down 2,800 tons from the 12th; Jiangsu inventory was 109,400 tons, down 10,400 tons from the 9th and down 8,300 tons from the 12th. Domestic social inventories continue to decline, with all markets showing varying degrees of decrease, mainly driven by Jiangsu market. Recently, downstream companies’ procurement and replenishment demand remains steady, leading to increased warehouse outbound volume, while some smelters have reduced shipments, resulting in decreased domestic supply arrivals and ongoing inventory reduction.
