SWIFT: RMB Ranks as Sixth Largest Payment Currency Globally in February, Accounting for 2.74%

The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) released its March report and data statistics on the Chinese yuan. In February, based on the total amount of global payments, the yuan ranked as the sixth most active currency worldwide, accounting for 2.74%. When considering international payments outside the Eurozone, the yuan also ranked sixth, with a share of 2.16%. (Jiemian News)
