How did AI and Weimob achieve their first annual profit since 2021?

On March 17, Weimob Group (2013.HK) released its 2025 annual report, with total revenue of RMB 1.592 billion, an 18.9% increase compared to the same period last year. Notably, Weimob disclosed that AI-related annual revenue reached RMB 116 million, with a 137.5% quarter-over-quarter growth in the second half of 2025 compared to the first half. Adjusted net profit was RMB 42 million, marking the company’s first annual profit since 2021; operating cash flow also turned positive for the first time since listing, indicating continuous improvement in financial fundamentals.

In 2025, Weimob’s gross profit reached RMB 1.195 billion, a 100.4% increase year-over-year; gross profit margin rose from 44.5% to 75.1%, reflecting ongoing enhancement in revenue quality. Subscription solution revenue was RMB 897 million, and merchant solution revenue was approximately RMB 695 million, up 65.1% year-over-year. As of December 31, 2025, Weimob’s cash and bank deposits totaled about RMB 2.099 billion, demonstrating healthy cash flow and financial stability.

Weimob stated that in 2026, it will firmly pursue the dual strategies of “All in AI” and “Weimob Going Global,” continuously driving the evolution of its business model and unlocking commercial potential, while accelerating its international expansion.
