CCTV Reporter Wei Ran: On the evening of the 15th, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran issued a statement saying that the Navy of the Revolutionary Guard carried out precise and devastating strikes on four US military bases located in the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Over 80% of strategic radars, critical, and important facilities within the US bases have been destroyed. The US military has not responded to this.

A spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran stated on the 15th that, so far, Iran has launched about 700 missiles and 3,600 drones at targets in the US and Israel. Most of the missiles Iran launched were produced ten years ago, and many of these missiles, produced after the “12th War” last year, are still in stock.

Multiple Attacks Occur in Iraq

Sources say there is a US diplomatic facility at the attack site. The Iraqi militia group “Islamic Resistance Organization” issued a statement saying that the group used drones and rockets to carry out 24 attacks on US targets in Iraq and its surrounding areas that day. Also on the 15th, two bases of the Iraqi militia “Popular Mobilization Forces” were hit by airstrikes; no casualties have been reported so far.

Conflict Continues Between Israel and Hezbollah

On the 15th, clashes between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah continued. According to a statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health on that day, since March 2nd, ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon have resulted in 850 deaths and 2,105 injuries, including 107 children.

Regional Countries Engage in Diplomatic Activities over Middle East Situation

CCTV Reporter Wei Ran: Meanwhile, neighboring countries continue diplomatic efforts regarding the regional situation. On the 15th, local time, Egyptian President Sisi spoke separately with Qatari Emir Tamim, UAE President Mohammed, and Jordanian King Abdullah II to discuss the regional situation. Sisi emphasized that Egypt is “ready to provide all possible support to maintain regional stability” and is making every effort to end the current conflict as soon as possible.

On the same day, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Abdel Atti arrived in Doha, Qatar, to begin a visit to Gulf countries. The statement said that this visit aims to hold urgent consultations with relevant countries regarding recent regional military escalations. Egypt will seek to ease regional tensions through joint actions and prioritize diplomatic means to maintain regional peace and security.
