Iran's Supreme Leader Rejects Reconciliation Proposal with US, Insists on Defeating US and Israel and Demanding Compensation

People’s Financial News, March 17 — An Iranian senior official stated on the 17th that Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, rejected proposals for “easing tensions or achieving peace” during a foreign affairs meeting. The proposals were handed over to the Iranian Foreign Ministry by two intermediary countries. The senior official said that Ayatollah Khamenei pointed out during the meeting that “now is not the time for peace,” and emphasized that the United States and Israel must be defeated and made to pay reparations.
