Abstract generation in progress

This week, major central banks around the world are holding a series of policy meetings, including the Federal Reserve, European Central Bank, Bank of England, Bank of Japan, and Reserve Bank of Australia, creating what the market calls a “Super Central Bank Week.” The interest rate decisions by these central banks will for the first time reflect their assessments of the impact of the Middle East conflict, making them highly watched.

Before the joint airstrikes by the US and Israel on Iran on February 28 this year, the monetary policy directions of various central banks were not aligned. For example, the market initially expected the US to continue cutting rates this year or even next year; however, some European countries are about to enter a rate hike cycle. The main reason for these differences is the varying inflation and economic conditions across countries.
