Coinujie News: According to a data center expansion strategy plan released by the German government on the 17th local time, by 2030, the computing power of Germany's general-purpose data centers will at least double compared to 2025 levels, with computing power specifically dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI) increasing at least 4-fold from 2025 levels. Carsten Wildbeutel, Germany's Minister for Digitalization and National Modernization, stated that day that this strategy aims to meet rapidly growing data processing demands driven by AI applications, cloud services, and digital transformation processes. "From a global perspective, we clearly still have significant catching-up to do," Wildbeutel said. This strategy document, which will soon be submitted to the German cabinet for approval, proposes 28 specific measures with the core objective of advancing Germany as a leading and data-sovereign data center hub in Europe.
