Microsoft announced that it is restructuring its Copilot team to integrate the commercial and consumer versions.

This reorganization will allow Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman to focus more on developing new AI models and advancing the company’s superintelligence research.

Microsoft stated that Jacob Andreou, who has served as Vice President of Microsoft AI Products and Growth since last year, will lead all Copilot-related work across both consumer and enterprise sectors.

Suleyman said that this restructuring will enable him to dedicate all his efforts to superintelligence development and to build world-class models for Microsoft within the next five years.
