CoinWorld reported on March 18 that according to official sources, Starknet mainnet will begin a scheduled upgrade today at 17:10 (UTC+8), with an expected downtime of approximately 12 minutes. Starknet stated that this upgrade is part of Starknet's journey toward further decentralization, which will shift the block hash calculation of Starknet blocks to decentralized Apollo nodes.
