[Caixin] After more than a year of investigation, the U.S. Department of Commerce has abandoned the imposition of anti-dumping or countervailing duties on imported Chinese anode materials.

On March 12 (local time), the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) announced that the Department of Commerce found that anode materials imported from China are sold at prices below fair value in the United States and are subsidized by the Chinese government, but these imports do not substantially hinder the development of the U.S. domestic industry.
