Former member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, Xu Xianping, is suspected of bribery. Recently, the Chifeng People’s Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution with the Chifeng Intermediate People’s Court.

The prosecution accuses Xu Xianping of leveraging his positions as a member of the Party Group of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government, Vice Governor of Hunan Province, Standing Committee Member of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, Vice Governor, Deputy Minister-level official of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Counselor of the State Council to seek benefits for others, illegally accepting others’ property, with a particularly large amount, and should be prosecuted for bribery according to law.

Public information shows that Xu Xianping, born in October 1954, is from Longhui, Hunan. He holds a master’s degree in management and a doctoral degree in management. He worked in Hunan for many years early in his career. From 2009 to 2014, he served as Deputy Director and Party Group Member of the National Development and Reform Commission.
