Tu Fu Car Care and NIO Brand Reach Strategic Partnership
On March 17, Tuhu Car Maintenance and NIO officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will focus on user operations by integrating resources to provide more personalized, high-quality services throughout the vehicle’s entire lifecycle.
As a high-end smart electric vehicle brand, NIO is committed to creating a premium driving experience and community culture. Tuhu Car Maintenance, as China’s largest independent auto service platform, has over 150 million registered users and tens of millions of active transaction users annually, forming one of the largest and most valuable car owner communities in the country.
This cooperation is an exploration of collaborative innovation between a high-end smart electric vehicle brand and an automotive aftermarket service platform, promoting a new model of cross-domain integration of the “car life service ecosystem” and the “automobile brand user ecosystem.” Both NIO and Tuhu have stated that in future collaborations, they will fully leverage their respective advantages to achieve deep coordination of online and offline resources and service networks, bringing exclusive value-added benefits to users.
Specifically, the two sides will collaborate on rights sharing, jointly designing and launching exclusive service benefit packages covering lifestyle, travel convenience, leisure, and entertainment, allowing users to receive broader value returns. Through this approach, they aim not only to serve vehicle-related needs but also to create rich car life cultural scenes, exploring the extension of the luxury car aftermarket from “product service” to “lifestyle upgrade.”
A senior executive from NIO stated, “We are very pleased to partner with Tuhu Car Maintenance, a leader in automotive services. This cooperation will effectively expand both parties’ service offerings, especially in rapidly reaching more regional users and enriching service scenarios. We believe this partnership will bring more value and surprises to users.”

This is also an important implementation of Tuhu’s strategic focus on new energy vehicle services. We will continue to invest resources to improve the new energy vehicle service ecosystem, dedicated to serving the growing number of new energy vehicle owners nationwide, ensuring every owner can enjoy a modern, worry-free driving experience.”
With the rapid development of China’s new energy vehicle market, the user base continues to expand, and their characteristics, behavioral preferences, and service expectations are becoming more distinct. Tuhu Car Maintenance has recognized this trend and actively responded. Its new energy vehicle user count has maintained rapid growth, reaching 3.4 million transaction users within 12 months ending June 30, 2025, an 83.5% increase year-over-year. The proportion of new energy vehicle transaction users exceeds 12%, with a penetration rate significantly higher than China’s overall new energy vehicle ownership rate.
Looking ahead, vehicle owners’ service needs will become more diverse and personalized. The strategic partnership between Tuhu and NIO will not only create greater value for existing users but also explore new service paradigms centered on cross-ecosystem collaboration and user-centric approaches.
