What is the greatest tragedy for the poor in China?

Many parents don't have much ability themselves, and they carelessly brought you into this world. They gave you an ugly face and a pig's brain. They gave you a back of the head flatter than a rice paddle. They randomly gave you some lousy name. Then they told you that you must make something of yourself, putting all their chips on you.

Many people survived unfortunate childhoods, painful adolescence, and despairing youth. When you were young, they constantly suppressed you. When you grew up, they demanded that you be confident. When you were young, they told you not to compare eating and clothing with others. When you grew up and didn't compare, they said you had no ambition. During school, they told you not to fall in love early. Right after graduation, they told you to get married early. In childhood, they demanded you be rigid and upright. When you grew up, they demanded flexibility and sophistication, urging you to get married and have children. They pushed you into the fire pit, then completely disassociated themselves from it all. They couldn't give you any life experience at all—just standing by with their hands folded, pointing fingers and criticizing.
