【Iran Crisis】Cathay Pacific cancels all flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh until April 30
Cathay Pacific (00293)
Says that due to the latest developments in the Middle East, all flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh have been canceled until April 30 (inclusive). The airline will closely monitor the situation, emphasizing that passenger and crew safety remains the top priority. Therefore, flight schedules may need further adjustments in the short term.
Affected passengers who have not received notification can check their latest booking status via the “Self-Manage Booking Service.”
Cathay Pacific has launched special ticketing arrangements to offer customers flexible options. Passengers who have booked flights between Hong Kong and Dubai or Riyadh on or before May 31 can rebook, change destinations, or request refunds without paying any service fees.
If tickets were purchased through travel agencies or third-party websites, please contact them directly to reschedule or request a refund. If tickets were booked through Cathay Pacific’s website, mobile app, or customer service, please contact the customer service team for assistance with new bookings. Refunds can be processed through the “Self-Manage Booking Service.”
Cathay Pacific states that due to recent developments in the Middle East, the airline is waiving fees for rebooking, changing destinations, and refunds, allowing more flexible travel arrangements. They understand travel plans may change due to the situation and aim to provide safer and more flexible options. If rebooking is chosen, any fare and tax differences between the original and new itinerary will still need to be paid.
