Phoenix Technology News, March 16 — The first “Yao Tai” computing power base station under Zhui Mi Xin Ji Chuan Yue was launched today aboard the Kuaizhou 11 Yao Qi launch vehicle from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

It is understood that this computing power base station is integrated into an optical remote sensing satellite and is expected to operate in a sun-synchronous orbit approximately 561 kilometers above the Earth’s surface. The main mission during on-orbit operation is to conduct systematic testing of the base station, focusing on verifying its system’s extreme capability in the complex environment of space.

Previously, Zhui Mi Xin Ji Chuan Yue publicly announced its space supercomputing center development plan at the AWE exhibition, proposing to deploy 2 million computing satellites to support the increasing computational demands in the field of artificial intelligence. The successful deployment of the “Yao Tai” base station into orbit signifies that the company’s space computing layout has officially moved beyond the R&D phase and into industrialization.
