To deeply practice the political and people-oriented nature of financial work and effectively improve the financial literacy of the general public, on the occasion of International Consumer Rights Day 3.15, Ping An Bank Xiamen Branch officially established the “Little Orange Hat” Financial Consumer Protection Public Welfare Volunteer Service Team. The branch also launched a financial consumer rights protection education and publicity campaign themed “Clear and Bright Financial Networks, Protecting Peace of Mind in Consumption” across its entire jurisdiction. Each branch relies on financial consumer protection stations to go deep into communities, rural areas, schools, and new citizen groups, integrating financial knowledge into fun interactions to make consumer protection publicity warmer and more down-to-earth.

Siming Branch: Lantern riddles still “guess” consumer protection knowledge after Lantern Festival

Entering the Meiren Community Financial Consumer Protection Station, Siming Branch has given new meaning to traditional lantern riddles. Behind each riddle are key points about preventing illegal fundraising and recognizing telecom fraud. Elderly friends either think carefully or discuss with each other, in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, “guessing” financial safety knowledge into their hearts.

Songbai Branch: Non-heritage small horse stool to safeguard residents’ “purses”

Songbai Branch went into Yuxiu Community, cleverly combining financial consumer protection promotion with intangible cultural heritage. They carried out the “Non-Heritage Handcrafted Small Horse” activity. Under volunteer guidance, residents personally made non-heritage small horses, while volunteers seized the opportunity to explain anti-fraud techniques and scientific financial management, helping residents feel the charm of traditional culture and strengthening their awareness of financial security.

Jimei Branch: Silver Age Classroom Launches Ping-Pong to Deliver Safety

Walking into Houan Village Consumer Protection Station, Jimei Branch focused on the needs of the elderly group, opening the “Silver Age Financial Knowledge Popularization Class.” Volunteers taught seniors how to use smart devices step by step, helping them bridge the “digital divide.” Outside the classroom, a fun game of “Flying Ping-Pong” attracted many elderly participants. The game incorporated high-interest temptation recognition and telecom fraud prevention, helping seniors remember key points in a joyful atmosphere.

Huli Branch: Frisbee tricks to avoid scams

At Hexin Community Financial Consumer Protection Station, Huli Branch creatively set up the “Insightful Scam Frisbee Challenge” game area. Residents aimed at frisbees with various scam tactics written on them and threw them with effort. Each hit was met with a volunteer explaining a scam method on the spot. The innovative format attracted many residents to participate, and through exercise, everyone sharpened their “fire-eyed” ability to identify scams.

Software Park Branch: “Brother, please stay” Sandbag Toss for Rational Investment

Software Park Branch focused on delivery workers and couriers rushing through city streets, inviting them to visit the Software Park Phase III Station. Volunteers organized watching videos on fire prevention and anti-fraud, and designed an interactive game called “Rational Investment Sandbag Toss.” During the game, the delivery personnel learned that “high returns mean high risks,” and many expressed they would safeguard their hard-earned money.

Xiang’an Branch: Amusement Park to Prevent “Scam” Ring Toss to Recognize “Risks”

Walking into the Technician College Station, Xiang’an Branch created a fun financial knowledge park for teachers and students. The “Anti-Fraud Ring Toss” and “Insightful Scam Frisbee Challenge” game areas drew long lines. Volunteers explained credit reporting knowledge between games, guiding young students to establish correct consumption and credit concepts, planting the seeds of financial safety on campus.

Tong’an Branch: Winding mountain roads, unwavering anti-fraud in bowling

Responding actively to regulatory calls, Tong’an Branch drove into Junying Village Consumer Protection Station, filmed financial knowledge educational videos, and broadcasted them on the Xiamen Banking Association’s 3.15 special live program “Li Hou·Xin Cuo Bian.” In front of the village’s old opera stage, volunteers played videos teaching seniors how to use smart devices and patiently answered questions. The subsequent “Anti-Fraud Bowling Attack” game pushed the event to a climax, with seniors aiming at bottles representing various scams and throwing with effort, deeply embedding anti-fraud awareness through laughter and joy.

From communities to rural areas, from schools to new citizen groups, Ping An Bank Xiamen Branch’s “Little Orange Hat” volunteers measure responsibility with their steps and transmit warmth through action. This series of activities has reached hundreds of people, transforming professional financial knowledge into practical self-defense skills in a way that is enjoyable and easy to understand. It truly makes financial consumer protection knowledge “visible, understandable, memorable, and usable.” In the future, Ping An Bank Xiamen Branch will continue to rely on financial consumer protection stations to carry out diverse educational activities regularly, making the “Little Orange Hat” a warm landscape in safeguarding the financial safety of the public.
