IT Home March 17 News, according to the technology media 9To5Google reported yesterday, Google is adding a bookmark bar feature to the Android version of Chrome browser, supporting foldable phones, tablets, and other large-screen devices.

IT Home quotes 9To5Google, stating that the updated Chrome browser looks more like the desktop version. The bookmark bar will appear below the address bar, with website icons displayed alongside their names. Folders will also appear, expandable within the current page.

At the end of the new bookmark bar, there is an expand arrow. Clicking it allows you to view bookmarks that are not visible, while the “All Bookmarks” button opens the existing full-screen bookmarks page. Long-pressing a website name will display the full URL link.

This feature has been released with Chrome 146. On narrow-screen devices like smartphones, it is disabled by default. Users can try enabling it manually in “Settings --> Appearance --> Show Bookmark Bar.”
