Multiple regions announced: Extending heating supply!

Due to recent cold air, temperatures have dropped sharply in Hebei, Shandong, Henan, and other regions. To respond to this cold wave, the three areas have announced extended central heating periods. During the extended heating period, no additional heating fees will be charged to residents. At the same time, relevant departments will activate emergency plans, conduct equipment inspections, and ensure indoor temperatures meet standards.

Hebei

Cangzhou City

According to meteorological forecasts, there will be two cold air events in Cangzhou City before March 20. To ensure residents’ heating needs, the municipal government has decided to extend the central heating season in the downtown area until 24:00 on March 20, 2026. During the extension, no heating fees will be charged to residents.

Shandong

Jinan City

To ensure residents’ heating needs, the central heating season in Jinan’s downtown area will be extended until 00:00 on March 23, 2026. No additional heating fees will be charged to residents during the extension.

Yantai City

Haiyang

After research, it has been decided that the central heating period will be extended until 24:00 on March 22, 2026, when heating will officially stop. During the extension, no extra heating fees will be charged to residents. Non-residential users are not covered by the free extension; those needing continued heating can negotiate with the heating company.

Qixia

Based on recent temperature changes and with the approval of the Qixia Municipal Government, the central heating period will be extended until 24:00 on March 25, 2026, when heating will officially stop. No additional heating fees will be charged during the extension.

Tai’an City

Feicheng

The heating season has been extended until March 20, 2026. During the extension, no additional heating fees will be charged to residents. The heating company will continue to ensure heating supply.

Linyi City

Tancheng

Based on recent temperature changes and with approval from the Tancheng County Government, the central heating period will be extended until 24:00 on March 20, 2026. No extra heating fees will be charged during this period.

Liaocheng City

On March 14, the Cheping District Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Liaocheng City issued a notice on extending the heating season for 2025–2026, as follows:

Henan

Zhengzhou City

To ensure the warmth of the people during the cold wave, according to the “Zhengzhou City Heating and Heat Use Management Measures,” the original heating period from 00:00 on November 15 of this year to 00:00 on March 15 of the next year has been extended by 2 days to 00:00 on March 17.

Luoyang City

To meet residents’ heating needs, Luoyang has decided to extend the central heating season in the main urban area until 24:00 on March 18, 2026, a total extension of 3 days. During the extension, no additional heating fees will be charged to residents.
