'Drishyam 3' Producer Sends Notice To Akshaye Khanna For Exiting Project Jaideep Ahlawat In
(This text is already in English and remains unchanged as requested.)
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)
Producer Kumar Mangat Pathak of Drishyam 3 has confirmed that he has sent a legal notice to Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna for allegedly walking out of the film after accepting the signing amount and committing to dates for the project.
Pathak claimed that Khanna left the film because of his demand to wear a wig, which did not match the film’s continuity and schedule.

Pathak said, “He signed our film, he signed the script, took the signing amount, signed the agreement, and then he walked out of the film. We have sent him a legal notice. If we do not receive a response by the end of the day, our legal team will take action, and we will pursue legal proceedings.”
“We had an agreement, we provided the money to make the costume, he gave us the dates, and suddenly he felt he needed to grow his hair, even though the film is a continuation. The day the previous film ends, it begins at night, so how can he grow his hair in four hours? Then he agreed, but again he felt he needed to grow his hair, which caused confusion and led him to leave the film. Those around him convinced him that wearing a wig would make him look very handsome,” Pathak explained.
“Now, we will go to court and seek compensation from them because we had set up a set at Yash Raj Studios, so we will claim the cost of the set and any other losses we have incurred. If there are any damages, we will definitely ask for them,” Pathak added.
Khanna has not yet issued a statement regarding the matter.
Following this incident, the producer said they have added Jaideep Ahlawat to the cast.
“We have cast Jaideep Ahlawat, we have added a new character… he will do what Akshay was doing, but he will come in a new form, and we are presenting him very well,” Pathak stated.
Drishyam 3 is scheduled to be released worldwide in theaters on October 2, 2026. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, and Tabu in leading roles and is directed by Abhishek Pathak.
