Huachuang Securities believes that in recent years, A-share companies have become more cautious in capital expenditure, shifting their focus from scale expansion to profitability quality and cash flow stability. As a result, profit distribution models have changed, allowing more free cash flow to be retained and allocated.
Compared to dividend strategies, cash flow strategies focus on the stability of a company’s profitability and the sustainability of cash quality, paying attention to the company’s potential future dividend-paying ability. This is reflected in indicators that capture changes in EBIT (economic cycle). Western Securities believes that the current “anti-involution + cross-border capital return” is restoring companies’ free cash flow. Cash flow strategies can more sensitively detect improvements in corporate profitability and are expected to continue generating excess returns.
The Southern Free Cash Flow ETF (159232) closely tracks the CSI All Share Free Cash Flow Index, which selects 100 listed companies with high free cash flow rates as the index sample, reflecting the overall performance of companies with strong cash flow creation ability. The top ten holdings by weight are China National Offshore Oil Corporation, SAIC Motor, Gree Electric Appliances, COSCO SHIPPING Holdings, Aluminum Corporation of China, TCL Technology, Muyuan Foods, Chint Electric, Baosteel, and Great Wall Motors.
The Southern Free Cash Flow ETF (159232) has off-market connection options (Type A: 025958; Type C: 025959).
