Four Suspects in Russian General's Attack Case to Face Prosecution

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced on the 13th that four individuals involved in the attack on Russian Army Lieutenant General Alekseev will be charged with terrorism. TASS quoted a statement from the spokesperson of the Investigative Committee, Petrenko, saying that the motive for the attack on Alekseev was to intimidate the public and destabilize the government. On February 6th, Alekseev was shot. According to Russian media reports, he underwent successful surgery and is not in life-threatening danger. (CCTV News)
