People’s Financial News, March 12 — The China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing officially released the “China Logistics Technology Development Report (2025)” today (March 12) at the 2026 Logistics Technology Conference held in Huzhou, Zhejiang. According to the report, in 2025, China’s logistics technology developments were frequent, with new logistics equipment achieving large-scale application. Particularly, the deep integration of “Artificial Intelligence+” into logistics has improved operational efficiency and effectively helped reduce overall social logistics costs. The report states that in 2025, China’s logistics demand steadily expanded, and the structure continued to optimize. With the large-scale application of new logistics equipment such as mobile collaborative robots, intelligent sorting devices, and unmanned delivery, the supporting role of logistics in economic development has been continuously strengthened, and logistics efficiency has kept improving. In 2025, the total social logistics costs as a percentage of GDP dropped to 13.9%, the lowest on record, meaning the logistics costs required per unit of GDP are decreasing. Innovative applications of logistics equipment have become the core support for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement. Cutting-edge technologies such as embodied intelligence, large logistics models, and low-altitude logistics are thriving. Especially in the end-to-end technological path of embodied intelligence in logistics scenarios, China has made significant progress. Embodied robots are beginning to enter warehouses and factories, marking a transitional leap from “automated guided vehicles” to intelligent agents capable of sensing, thinking, and operating.
