Over the past year, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress has organized a comprehensive cleanup of normative documents affecting the development of the private economy and other areas.

The Work Report of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress shows that over the past year, the Standing Committee has performed its filing and review responsibilities in accordance with the law, ensuring that every case is filed, reviewed, and corrected if necessary. It reviewed 2,218 pieces of administrative regulations, supervisory regulations, local regulations, autonomous regulations, and separate regulations, as well as judicial interpretations and laws of the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions. It also studied and lawfully responded to 6,705 review suggestions from citizens and organizations. Additionally, it organized a focused cleanup of normative documents that affect the development of the private economy and unfair treatment of enterprises. (CCTV News)
